Research

I am an aquatic ecologist in the Giam Conservation Ecology lab. I'm interested in learning about aquatic fauna and how to better conserve freshwater ecosystems, with a specific focus on freshwater fish, macroinvertebrates, and mussels. My research investigates the life history of native, non-game, southern Appalachian stream fish and how they respond to different environmental conditions.
