Research
My research focuses on the cost-effective design of agri-environment schemes (AES) aimed at biodiversity conservation in agricultural landscapes. AES are an incentive-based economic instrument that encourage the adoption of environmentally-friendly practices by offering farmers a compensation payment for the opportunity costs they incur when implementing such practices. My research methodology involves developing ecological-economic models.
