Biography
I’m interested in developing tools to improve the efficiency of global conservation funding, with the aim of minimizing biodiversity loss and preventing extinctions. My work spans systematic conservation planning, cost-effectiveness analysis, and time series modeling to evaluate the impact of policies such as National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plans. Lately, I’ve been focused on advancing early alert systems to detect and report illegal land clearance to authorities. I’m also exploring how institutional effectiveness shapes conservation outcomes and identifying ways to address the bottlenecks that hinder protection efforts.
